Job summary

Statkraft seeks a Senior Business Analyst to bridge Markets and IT for Beacon, our Portfolio and Risk Management platform, and for Risk IT Tools. You will translate business needs into clear requirements, analyze financial models and coordinate dependencies across systems.

Work with quantitative analysts and developers in an agile, multidisciplinary environment to drive delivery from ideation to validation and improve risk analytics across Statkraft's trading landscape.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in complex IT or digital product environments.
• Strong analytical and financial-market knowledge, including financial models and valuation methods.
• Experience in energy trading, derivatives, risk management, market or credit risk, or financial reporting.
• Practical Python experience for data analysis, investigation, prototyping or automation.
• Structured, hands-on approach with ability to work independently and take ownership through implementation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
• Higher education in a related field; English fluency required; Scandinavian language is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key link between Markets and IT, translating business needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with business users, quantitative analysts and developers to understand needs.
• Analyse financial models, valuation methodologies and quantitative calculations.
• Coordinate dependencies between Beacon, internal models and the Risk IT landscape.
• Drive priorities and support delivery from initial business need through implementation and validation.
• Support continuous improvement of risk management, reporting, analytics and automation solutions.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
