Job summary

Prosmar Risk AS in Lysaker, near Oslo, is seeking a commercially minded, tech-savvy professional to join our small, high-impact team at the crossroads of finance, technology and shipping.

You will work hands-on with clients to onboard them, develop dashboards with Power BI and Python, support financial risk analysis and enhance data infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have a degree in finance, strong English and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for international clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or a related field.
• Understanding of risk management, derivatives, and hedging strategies.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on with clients to identify needs, guide onboarding and maintain strong relationships.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reports to monitor performance, risk exposure, and key business metrics.
• Support analysis and reporting on financial risk strategies using derivatives to manage exposure to market volatility in fuel prices and freight rates using tools like Power BI and Python.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to identify commercial opportunities and design ideas for new features and improvements.
• Work with data infrastructure, ensuring efficient data modelling and linking complex datasets across multiple tables to support analytics and reporting needs.
