Job summary

Sector Alarm is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to design and implement robust backend services for our IoT and smart home platform. You will work on microservices in Azure, with REST and event-based architectures, ensuring secure, scalable systems across iOS and Android integrations.

You will mentor peers, write tests, and collaborate with product owners and architects in a hybrid environment with occasional travel to Fuengirola. Fluency in English and EU work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Strong C# and .NET Core proficiency.
• 5+ years building microservices and REST/event-based APIs.
• Experience with Claude Code for AI-assisted development.
• Backend services consumed by iOS and Android apps.
• SQL and Azure Service Bus knowledge; test automation.
• Excellent English communication; EU work permit.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen and support the development team to protect customers.
• Write clean, scalable C# .NET Core code.
• Develop according to business and user needs.
• Evaluate code for architecture, stability, and security.
• Write unit and integration tests to prevent regressions.
• Mentor junior developers and coordinate with stakeholders.
