Job summary

Omnium is building a cloud-native Order Management System for major Nordic retailers. As a fullstack developer, you’ll own parts of a SaaS platform, working across backend (C#/.NET, API) and frontend (Vue.js) to deliver scalable commerce solutions.

THE ROLE

As a fullstack developer at Omnium, you'll become part of a cross-functional development team. You'll work closely with a modern SaaS platform built on .NET, with Azure, Elasticsearch and Vue.js, used by some of the Nordics' largest commerce players. You'll work across the stack, from backend to frontend, and take technical ownership of how functionality is designed, built and further developed in production.

This is a domain-heavy role. Our customers are retailers and brands running high volumes across e-commerce, stores and customer service, and their business logic lives in our platform — orders, inventory, fulfilment, returns, payments, channel complexity. Setting up Omnium well means genuinely understanding how each customer operates, so we're looking for someone who recognises these processes from experience and can translate them into solid technical solutions.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS

• Experience building systems for retail or e-commerce, for example OMS, ERP, e-commerce platforms, POS, WMS, payments or logistics. This is a requirement: you need to understand the commerce domain, not just the code
• 5+ years of experience as a developer, preferably from SaaS or other complex systems in production
• Solid expertise in C# and .NET and experience building robust backend services and APIs
• A good understanding of architecture, domain modelling, API design and databases
• The ability to make deliberate technical choices based on scalability, performance and maintainability
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks is an advantage, ideally Vue.js
• Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, and the ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
