Job summary

SPERTON - Where Great People Meet is seeking an experienced Senior SAS Engineer to join a long-term contract. You will design and integrate Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) and support installation and commissioning activities across process, utility and electrical interfaces.

The role requires at least 10 years of SAS experience and a bachelor or higher in SAS discipline, with the ability to work with diverse input from process, electrical, safety and HVAC disciplines in compliance with

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of SAS engineering experience.
• Bachelor or higher education within the SAS discipline.
• Ability to provide installation and commissioning support for SAS equipment.
• Familiar with input documentation from process/electrical/safety disciplines and standards like NORSOK I-002 and IEC/PAS 63131:2017.

We are seeking an experienced "Senior SAS Engineer" for one of our client's to join their team on long-term contractual basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for the quality, delivery, and integration of Safety and Automation Systems (SAS). You will act as a technical pillar within the project with an ability to provide necessary support during installation and MC of SAS related equipment and modifications.

What You'll Do?

• - Responsible for SAS system design and integration.


• - System design of process, utility and electrical systems (interface, FS, SCD and HMI input)


• - Provide support during installation and MC of SAS related equipment and modifications.


• - Designing solutions according to our client's requirements


• - Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project interface to other disciplines, suppliers and client.


• - Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers


• - Preparation of engineering documents such as F&G, C&E, SCDs, ESD/PSD Block logic and work package

Who You're?

• Minimum 10 year experienced engineer


• Bachelor or higher education within the SAS discipline.


• Ability to provide necessary support during installation and MC of SAS related equipment and modifications.


• Ability to interact with and understand input documentation from source disciplines like process, electrical, safety, HVAC, etc. - NORSOK standards: I-002 and IEC/PAS 63131:2017


• Ability to develop new and maintain system design documentation like system philosophies and specifications including alarm specifications.


• Competence to translate process functionality to the system supplier. Follow up of supplier documentation and verification of resulting software and hardware deliverables.
