Zego is hiring a Senior AI Product Manager to join the Platform team in a hybrid London-based role. The Platform powers all core quoting, buying and policy lifecycle aspects, delivering end-to-end customer journeys with AI-enabled workflows.

You will own a technical platform domain, work closely with engineering and data teams, and drive investigations, trade-offs and governance to enable fast, reliable product delivery in a regulated insurance context.

Qualifications

• Platform ownership with track record of delivering business impact.
• Technical literacy with system architecture, APIs and workflows.
• Experience leading incremental rebuilds while keeping operations running.
• Data and commercial fluency using financial and usage data to guide decisions.
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in regulated environments and compliance embedded in design.
• Daily AI-focused work mindset with curiosity and ownership

Responsibilities

• Define quarterly strategy and goals for Platform and balance new capability with legacy work.
• Lead complex discovery to modernise policy lifecycle and migrate from legacy systems.
• Dive into technical details, dependencies and trade-offs with engineering.
• Treat internal teams as customers to enable fast, predictable launches.
• Make services AI-ready with clear APIs and auditable data for automations.
• Set metrics on reliability, incidents, time-to-launch and cost-to-serve.
• Build compliance with Legal, Compliance and Finance from day one.
• Engage stakeholders through ceremonies and planning events
