Job summary

Nussir is seeking an experienced Certified Accountant to lead the transition from construction to production and manage the company’s accounting operations and financial processes. The successful candidate will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensure compliance with Norwegian rules and IFRS where applicable, oversee tax and VAT reporting, and coordinate external audits.

Qualifications

• Certified Accountant with authorization.
• Higher education in accounting or economics.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting, auditing, or financial management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian accounting regulations; IFRS experience is a plus.
• Experience with year-end closing, taxation and VAT reporting.
• Strong systems understanding and ERP experience; SAP is an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent written and spoken Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting transition from construction to production.
• Oversee the company’s accounting operations and financial processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Oversee tax and VAT reporting.
• Coordinate and manage external audits.
• Further develop internal routines, processes and controls.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes.
• Participate in financial analysis and decision support for management.
• Collaborate with external advisors, authorities and other business functions.
