Job summary

Nussir is seeking an experienced Certified Accountant to lead the transition from construction to production and manage the company’s accounting operations and financial processes. The successful candidate will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensure compliance with Norwegian rules and IFRS where applicable, oversee tax and VAT reporting, and coordinate external audits.

Qualifications

• Certified Accountant with authorization.
• Higher education in accounting or economics.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting, auditing, or financial management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian accounting regulations; IFRS experience is a plus.
• Experience with year-end closing, taxation and VAT reporting.
• Strong systems understanding and ERP experience; SAP is an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent written and spoken Norwegian and English.

Stillingen Har Følgende Ansvarsområder

• Lede den regnskapsmessige overgangen fra konstruksjonsfasen til produksjon
• Ansvar for selskapets regnskapsføring og regnskapsprosesser
• Utarbeidelse av måneds-, kvartals- og årsregnskap
• Sikre etterlevelse av gjeldende lover, regler og regnskapsstandarder
• Ansvar for skatte- og avgiftsrapportering
• Koordinering og oppfølging av revisjon
• Videreutvikling av interne rutiner, prosesser og kontroller via SAP
• Bidra til budsjett-, prognose- og rapporteringsprosesser
• Delta i finansielle analyser og beslutningsunderlag for ledelsen
• Samarbeid med eksterne rådgivere, myndigheter og øvrige forretningsområder

Ønskede Kvalifikasjoner

• Autorisert regnskapsfører
• Høyere økonomisk utdannelse innen regnskap, revisjon eller økonomi
• Minimum 5 års relevant erfaring innen regnskap, revisjon eller økonomistyring
• Solid kompetanse innen norsk regnskapsregelverk
• Internasjonal og IFRS erfaring er en fordel
• Erfaring med årsoppgjør, skatt og avgift
• God systemforståelse og erfaring med ERP-systemer, erfaring med SAP er en fordel
• Meget gode ferdigheter i Excel
• God skriftlig og muntlig fremstillingsevne på norsk og engelsk

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with year-end closing, taxation, and VAT reporting
• Strong systems understanding and experience with ERP systems
• International and SAP experience is an advantage
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English

The position offers significant opportunities for learning and professional growth as part of a rapidly expanding group. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence the development of the mining project in Kvalsund and will be expected to spend time both at the mine site and at the processing plant. Candidates are expected to spend a minimum of five working days per month in Repparfjord. The office location is either Hammerfest or Alta.

The position includes personnel management responsibilities. Accounting, payroll, and IFRS services are currently provided by Admento.
