Job summary

iO Associates is seeking a Python Developer with SC clearance for a contract role in the UK defence/security sector. Remote work is possible, with London on-site visits every 4-6 weeks. The position offers £400–£500 per day outside IR35, initial 6 months, starting ASAP.

You will develop Python-based applications, work with cross-functional teams, ensure security compliance, and contribute to SDLC activities in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing with Python in a professional setting.
• SC clearance (any status: active, lapsed or clearable).
• Experience working in defence, security, or related sectors is desirable.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications aligned with project requirements.
