Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd urgently seeks a Release Manager with Active SC clearance to own end-to-end release cycles for AWS-hosted Java/Spring Boot services in a public sector environment.

You will oversee deployments via CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), manage environments, and support Dockerised microservices and SQL databases, ensuring governance and change-control compliance before releases.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Release Manager, with a track record in delivering complex releases.
• Active SC clearance is mandatory for engagement in public sector initiatives.
• Own and coordinate end-to-end release cycles for AWS-hosted Java/Spring Boot services.
• Oversee deployments via CI/CD pipelines, manage environments, and support Dockerised microservices and SQL databases.
• Ensure governance, risk management and adherence to change-control processes ahead of releases.
• Drive continual improvement in release processes with agile teams and tools like Swagger/OpenAPI, Gradle, Liquibase, Kafka, React and Typescript.

Key Requirements:

• Proven commercial experience working as a Release Manager within the Public Sector.
• Active SC Clearance.
• Own and coordinate end-to-end release cycles for AWS-hosted Java/Spring Boot services, ensuring readiness, dependency management, quality checks and stakeholder communication.
• Oversee deployments through CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar), managing environments, resolving issues, and supporting teams working with Dockerised microservices and SQL databases.
• Ensure governance, risk management and adherence to change-control processes, including validating test coverage and sign-off criteria ahead of releases.
• Drive continual improvement in release processes, collaborating with agile delivery teams and leveraging knowledge of tools like Swagger/OpenAPI, Gradle, Liquibase, Kafka, React and Typescript.
