Job summary

iO Associates is recruiting a Kotlin Developer for a government-focused project. The role is remote with occasional travel to London, offering up to £475 per day outside IR35 on a 6-month contract with potential extension.

You will join a specialist consultancy delivering secure technology solutions, developing and supporting modern applications within a public sector environment. You’ll contribute across the full SDLC, collaborating with developers, testers, architects and wider technical teams.

Qualifications

• Commercial Kotlin development experience.
• Experience with APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.
• Strong testing, debugging and version control.
• Experience in public/secure government environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Kotlin
• Build robust, scalable and secure software solutions
• Work collaboratively with developers, testers, architects and wider technical teams
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve complex technical issues
• Follow Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement
