Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Oslo seeks a Sales Executive to support the Data Centre Solutions business across Northern Europe. You will partner with the Business Development Director and regional leadership to drive sales planning, strategy, forecasting, and client materials.

You will collaborate with Research and Marketing to generate market reports, participate in client meetings, and help grow CBRE’s market presence in a fast-expanding data center market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2–5 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

About the Role

Join CBRE as a Sales Executive and be part of the world’s leading real estate services company. As a CBRE Sales Executive, you will partner with the Business Development Director and the wider management team to support and grow our Data Centre Solutions business across Northern Europe - one of the fastest growing data center markets globally.

This job is part of the sales operations function within CBRE's Data Centre Solutions division. Working closely with the regional leadership team, you will be responsible for sales planning, strategy, and forecasting to drive business growth and achieve commercial objectives across the Northern Europe region.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist with gathering information for presentations to demonstrate to potential clients the benefits of our products.
  • Research new ways to make products appeal by observing the environment and current trends.
  • Maintain the list of targets, track progress, and issue periodic updates to senior team members.
  • Manage processes and reports to audit data. Identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Recommend and coordinate process implementations to ensure ongoing improvement in sales support functions.
  • Ensure business plans, reports, and strategies are accurate on time. Prepare materials and take part in market meetings and broker debriefs.
  • Partner with Research and Marketing teams to generate reports and materials for Sales Management.
  • Provide data about market segments, business activity, and success rates. Help identify expert resources to support the broker’s pursuit activities.
  • Provide the sales team with insight based on goals and daily interactions with the sales team.
  • Learn and support the adoption of other broker technology tools and systems.
  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
  • Create price modeling, operating budgets, staffing models, and labor costs for the business.
  • Oversee the creation of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials with the pursuit team and local and regional marketing professionals.
  • Participate in client-facing meetings for cultivation and business development efforts.
  • Organize client meetings in the respective region. Ensure relevant information is shared and proper business development processes are conducted.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior sales experience preferred.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
