Job summary

CTS Group is seeking a Design Manager – Site to lead the design on Norway-based data centre projects. You will sit in the project delivery team, act as design authority on site, manage RFIs and TQs, and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and CTS's Design & Engineering teams throughout construction through commissioning and handover.

The role follows a 3 weeks on site / 1 week remote rotation, requires 7+ years in site-based design or construction-phase engineering, and strong BIM/digital

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, electrical, or equivalent engineering field.
• 7+ years in site-based design management or construction phase engineering.
• Experience on data centre or mission-critical construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as design lead on site and main interface with stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs and TQs, and control design changes on site.
• Coordinate with BIM team for clashes and model updates.
• Ensure latest design revisions are used and handover ready.
