Job summary

CTS Group in Oslo, Norway, is seeking an experienced Design Manager (Office) to lead end-to-end design delivery for data centre projects from the Oslo office. You will coordinate across Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, and Architectural disciplines to deliver buildable, compliant designs aligned with programme and budget.

You will manage consultants, drive BIM coordination, support permitting, and collaborate with CTS Execution teams to hand over complete design packages.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience delivering multidisciplinary design in data centres or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong understanding of MEP interfaces and resilience concepts.
• Proficiency with BIM/digital coordination and common data environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the project design programme across disciplines.
• Coordinate design activities between mechanical, electrical, civil, structural and architectural teams.
• Manage design consultants, scope, deliverables, and quality.
• Maintain design deliverables register and information release schedules.
• Coordinate BIM and digital design to deliver clash-free packages.
• Lead design reviews for compliance, constructability and cost.
• Interface with CTS Execution, Manufacturing and Procurement teams.
• Resolve design queries and support value engineering while protecting performance.
