Job summary

Lillestrøm municipality is seeking staff for the Asak respite centre to provide direct service delivery and coordinating care plans. The role involves assessing needs, implementing measures, and contributing to staff development in a busy respite environment.

Permanent weekend positions are offered in varying percentages (10%–43%). Applicants must have relevant education or experience, Norwegian language skills (B2), and a police certificate not older than 3 months.

Qualifications

• Relevant health, social and/or pedagogical education at upper secondary level. The education requirement may be waived with relevant experience.
• Preferably experience with targeted environmental work
• Knowledge about people with disabilities
• Experience with handling challenging behaviour is an advantage
• Experience with record keeping and preparing and following up action plans is an advantage
• Good ICT skills are an advantage
• Class B driving licence
• Proficient in Norwegian written and oral, and have good communication skills. Requirement of passed Norwegian test B2, both written and oral
• Valid police certificate, which is not older than 3 months. The police certificate must be presented before start date

Responsibilities

• Direct service delivery in accordance with decisions, daily plans, routines and procedures
• Map the service recipient's needs, prepare, implement and evaluate measures
• Contribute to professional development in the municipal area
• Contribute to a good working environment in your own section
• Tasks in accordance with hol. ch. 9
• Daily record keeping and preparation of action plans. We use Gerica in Lillestrøm
• Participate in relevant courses and meetings
