Job summary

RedLine Freight Services is seeking a compassionate part-time caregiver for an elderly client in Os, Norway. The role involves assisting with daily tasks, administering medications, preparing meals, and providing companionship.

You will monitor health and report any concerns to family or medical professionals. Ideal candidates have prior senior-care experience, knowledge of basic first aid and CPR, and are able to work in English.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver for seniors is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Norway.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medication as prescribed by the client's medical team
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions
• Accompany the client on walks and outings as needed
• Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with the client
• Monitor the client's health and report any changes or concerns to family members or medical professionals
