Job summary

SchoolMaker is seeking a passionate Full-Stack Engineer to join our Product Team. This is a full-time, remote position with a product-driven LMS startup.

You will contribute to all stages of the software lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, working across Front-End and Back-End to deliver features. You will be comfortable with multiple languages and frameworks, ship new features, write tests, and participate in R&D activities.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in software development.
• Mastery of Ruby on Rails.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Proficient in HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiar with at least one modern Front-End framework.
• Solid understanding of design principles.

Responsibilities

• Ideate, build and deploy software solutions.
• Design and implement front-end and back-end systems.
• Develop and manage databases.
• Write comprehensive tests (unit, integration, system).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade the software.
• Write technical documentation.
• Contribute to R&D with POC using new technologies.
