Job summary

Qbee, a policy-based fleet management and OTA configuration platform, seeks a core engineer to design, build, and scale software across the stack. You will connect low-level OS agents to cloud backends and web consoles, delivering high-concurrency backend services and frontend UI.

You will work with Go, TypeScript, and AWS serverless, deepen embedded Linux integrations, document engineering work, and occasionally assist customers with edge deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering and system architecture (DDD, SOLID).
• Production experience in Golang, or ability to master Go quickly.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Angular.
• Solid understanding of Linux/POSIX fundamentals and container workflows.
• Clear written and verbal English communication with proactive collaboration.
• Residency within Europe with straightforward flight access to Oslo Airport (OSL).

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain high-concurrency backend services and lightweight agent modules in Go.
• Build and refine responsive fleet management UI using TypeScript and Angular.
• Design and scale serverless infrastructure on AWS.
• Deepen integrations with embedded Linux environments (Yocto, Buildroot, RAUC) and RTOS.
• Author clear developer documentation and internal technical references.
• Provide occasional engineering support to technical customers solving edge deployment challenges.
