Job summary

Six Robotics is seeking a dedicated Release Manager based in Oslo to own quarterly software releases from planning through to delivery. You will bridge Product and Engineering, ensuring scope, dependencies, and risks are managed with clear visibility for stakeholders.

You will collaborate with CTO, VP Engineering, and Operations, applying strong PM discipline to deliver releases on time while maintaining high quality. The role offers equity potential and a strong pension/insurance package.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in technical PM/release management roles.
• Engineering or computer science background.
• Solid understanding of version control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing environments.
• Experience or eligibility for security clearance with defence collaborations.
• Ability to coordinate across Product, Engineering, and Operations to deliver releases on time.

Responsibilities

• Own the release end-to-end from planning to handover to Operations.
• Plan realistic scope and turn requirements into delivery plans.
• Map dependencies across engineering, design, test and field teams.
• Run status meetings and track progress to avoid delays.
• Identify risks and mitigations, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Create scalable release processes and cross-team alignment.
