Six Robotics in Oslo is seeking a Release Manager to own quarterly releases end-to-end, coordinating across engineering, design, and testing. You will ensure realistic planning, surface dependencies early, and maintain a clear release rhythm with stakeholders.

The role requires strong technical acumen, structured process setup, and proactive leadership in a fast-moving startup environment. You will bridge Product and Engineering, bring Operations and Customer Success into a more structured

Competenze

• Specialised technical project manager background in engineering or software/product environments.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with multiple stakeholders.
• Engineering or computer science background with strong technical foundations.
• Solid understanding of version control, CI/CD pipelines, testing environments, and modern software delivery; comfortable with Jira.
• Highly structured and organized; able to set up processes, plan, and manage risk across many stakeholders.
• Proactive by nature; plans next steps while one release is underway.
• Strong people skills and clear communication, able to stay positive under pressure.
• Motivated by owning a critical function in a fast-moving startup; comfortable with ambiguity.

• Own the release end-to-end from planning to handover to Operations and Mission Readiness.
• Make plans realistic by turning requirements into scoped, achievable delivery plans.
• Map and drive dependencies across all engineering teams, design, test, and field engineers.
• Run the execution rhythm with status meetings and forward-looking action plans.
• Manage risk and trade-offs; surface scope changes and delays, and propose mitigations.
• Create visibility and structure with clear reporting on progress and risks.
