Job summary

The Recommerce Specialist at Fairown Norway As performs technical and cosmetic inspection of returned products and prepares them for resale in the Norwegian market. This is a full-time, office-based role at Geilo with flexible hours, offering hands-on work across the latest consumer tech.

No prior experience is required as thorough training is provided. You will use diagnostic software to assess condition, set purchase prices, and drive B2B and B2C sales while ensuring excellent customer contact

Job description

The Recommerce Specialist is responsible for the technical and cosmetic inspection of returned products, preparing them for resale, and sales and customer contact in the Norwegian market.

Candidate Requirements

• Inner drive and initiative - you like to stay active, you want to sell, and this type of work genuinely interests you.
• No prior experience required - you will receive thorough training: we'll help you understand the work processes and equipment, and you'll get support at every step. You start with a clean slate together with us.
• Willingness to be thorough and detail-oriented - accuracy develops through the work, as part of the training.
• Very good English skills are necessary. Norwegian is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Good communication skills - customer service experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Independent and structured way of working, along with a good sense of responsibility.

Job Duties

• Technical and cosmetic inspection of returned products within the following product groups: gaming PCs (laptop and desktop computers), TVs, monitors, phones (mainly Apple/Samsung), tablets (mainly Apple/Samsung), robot vacuum cleaners, headphones.
• Assessment of technical condition using existing diagnostic software (available for most product groups).
• Assessment of cosmetic condition according to existing examples and standards.
• Technical cleaning and preparation of products for sale.
• Determining purchase prices using existing examples and databases.
• Sales of products in the Norwegian market -- both B2B (the main part today) and B2C.
• Customer contact (both B2B and B2C).
• Shipping/dispatch of sold products to customers.
