Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role.
• Associates degree in Electronics or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electronic systems circuitry and communication protocols.
• Familiarity with various types of radio equipment such as transmitters receivers amplifiers antennas etc.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Good physical stamina as the job may involve climbing towers or working in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up radio equipment according to specifications and safety standards
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on all radio equipment to identify and address any potential issues
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty radio equipment ensuring minimal downtime
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed on each radio unit
• Monitor radio transmissions to ensure quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to design test and implement new radio technology
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in radio technology
