Job summary

PrimeDefense USA in Svalbard is seeking a skilled Radio Technician to install, maintain and repair radio equipment used for communication and broadcasting. You will ensure equipment functions properly and safely, and support field operations in challenging Arctic conditions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role.
• Associates degree in Electronics or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electronic systems circuitry and communication protocols.
• Familiarity with various types of radio equipment such as transmitters receivers amplifiers antennas etc.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Good physical stamina as the job may involve climbing towers or working in confined spaces.

Salary

As a Radio Technician in Svalbard you can expect to earn a monthly salary of $1300.
