Job summary

DNV's Research Trainee Programme in 2027 offers a 2-year path with three eight-month rotations in Industrial AI, Cybersecurity, or Nuclear Propulsion. The programme starts in the head office at Høvik outside Oslo, with an alternative in Trondheim for Cybersecurity and an option for a rotation abroad.

Open to candidates with a Master’s or PhD completed between 2025 and 2027 and a maximum of two years of work experience. A permanent position awaits in GRD or another business area after completion.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree completed between 2025 and 2027.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Background in computer science, statistics, simulations, programming or ML is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Three rotations of eight months each across GRD and business areas.
• Base in Oslo area at Høvik, with Trondheim as an alternative for Cybersecurity.
• Minimum one rotation at a site abroad or in another Norwegian location.
