Job summary

Golden Owl is looking for a Quality Control Intern who is detail-oriented, logical, and passionate about software testing and product quality. You will gain exposure to a professional IT project environment and receive on-the-job guidance from supervisors, QC Leads, and experienced QC members.

In this role, you will study requirements, design and execute test cases, report defects, and work with developers, PC/PO, and QC teammates to ensure product quality in real projects.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or 4th-year students who can join full-time during the internship period.
• Major in Information Technology or related fields.
• 4-month internship commitment and 12-month working commitment after the internship.
• Strong passion for IT software development and software testing.
• Good IT background, critical thinking, and logical thinking skills.
• Good command of English is required.
• Personal laptop is required.

Responsibilities

• Test preparation and documentation.
• Study SRS, acceptance criteria, design documents, and related project materials to understand product requirements.
• Design, review, and update test cases based on project requirements and guidance from the QC Lead or supervisor.
• Test execution and defect management.
• Execute tests based on test cases or test scripts and report test results clearly and on time.
• Log, report, and track defects using the Scrum board or bug tracking tools, ensuring bugs are recorded completely and informatively.
• Validate fixed bugs and support the development team by providing additional information when needed.
• Quality reporting and team collaboration.
• Evaluate test execution results and report findings to the supervisor or QC Lead.
• Coordinate with developers, PC/PO, QC members, and other stakeholders to clarify issues and support project quality.
• Report task progress and blockers to the supervisor or QC Lead as guided.
• Domain learning and task ownership.
• Improve domain knowledge in areas such as EDI, CRM, supply chain, inventory, HRM, accounting, logistics, or other project-related domains.
• Complete assigned QC tasks effectively and continuously improve testing skills, working discipline, and quality mindset.
