Job summary

Nel Hydrogen in Oslo is seeking a Project Manager to lead hydrogen-related projects in a hybrid role. You will manage planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resources, coordinating cross-functional teams and suppliers to meet milestones.

The role requires strong PM skills, analytical ability, and effective English communication. A technical degree and hybrid work capability are preferred to support Nel Hydrogen’s project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and cost management.
• Structured and process oriented with regards to methods and change management.
• Experience in industrial, energy, or hydrogen-related projects is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Excellent English communication skills; Norwegian is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related field preferred.
• Hybrid work environment; ability to manage multiple projects with diverse teams.

Role Description This is a full-time Project Manager role based in Oslo, offered as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site and work-from-home arrangements. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for hydrogen-related projects. Daily responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, managing suppliers and logistics, tracking progress against milestones, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role involves monitoring risks, implementing mitigation measures, preparing project reports and documentation, and communicating regularly with internal stakeholders and external partners. • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential; proficiency in Norwegian is an advantage.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field is preferred.
