Job description

Do you want to help create a sustainable future?

The transition to a more electrified and sustainable society depends on smarter, more resilient power grids. At Siemens, we develop technologies and digital solutions that help utilities and industries optimize energy systems, strengthen critical infrastructure, and accelerate the energy transition across the Nordic region.

Within Smart Infrastructure, our Grid Software business connects the physical and digital worlds, enabling customers to manage and operate increasingly complex power networks safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

Would you like to be part of this journey?

As a Project Manager in Siemens Smart Infrastructure, you will join a highly skilled team working with some of the most important digital solutions supporting the energy transition. You will become part of an international environment where collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation are at the heart of everything we do.

We are looking for an experienced and structured project / services manager who thrives in a customer-facing role, enjoys taking ownership, and is motivated by delivering successful outcomes for both customers and colleagues.

About the role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of Grid Software projects across the Nordic region. You will lead projects from planning and execution through delivery and long-term service agreements, acting as the primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders.

You will be responsible for project performance, financial results, quality, customer satisfaction, and progress throughout the full lifecycle of system implementations. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will coordinate resources, manage risks and opportunities, and ensure successful project delivery.

You will also contribute to the continued development of modern project management practices, combining traditional and Agile ways of working where appropriate.

Does this sound like you?

We are looking for someone with relevant higher education and experience leading complex projects, preferably within software, IT, energy, infrastructure, or industrial environments.

You have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, a commercial mindset, and the ability to build trust with customers and colleagues alike. Experience with Agile methodologies and project / service management frameworks such as PMP, PMI, PRINCE2 or ITIL is considered an advantage.

Knowledge of electrical transmission and distribution is beneficial but not required.

Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken, is required.

What do we offer?

At Siemens, you'll receive extensive training, continuous learning opportunities, and the support of experienced colleagues and mentors. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, flexible ways of working, and excellent opportunities for professional and career development, both nationally and internationally. You'll also enjoy additional time off during Easter, the Christmas holiday period, and selected bridge days, as well as the opportunity to participate in Siemens' employee share program.
