Job summary

Folk AS is seeking a Project HSSEQ Manager to lead Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality activities across the project lifecycle. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure safe delivery, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement on site and at office locations.

The role requires strong HSSEQ leadership, risk management experience from complex industrial projects, and the ability to promote a proactive safety culture while meeting schedule

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience from industrial projects
• Experience with complex industrial projects involving supplier fabrication and/or construction
• Experience with quality assurance, surveillance, and control
• LEAN experience and mindset advantageous
• Practical experience with both HSE and Quality-related responsibilities.
• Experience with start-ups would be considered a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific HSSEQ plans and management systems.
• Provide visible HSSEQ leadership and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, permits, standards, certifications, and contractual HSSEQ requirements.
• Lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across the project lifecycle.
• Monitor HSSEQ performance through audits, inspections, and KPI reporting.
• Lead incident reporting, investigation, and lessons learned processes.
• Coordinate HSSEQ training and competency development for personnel.
• Build relationships with clients, regulators, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare and present HSSEQ reports and improvement recommendations.
