Job summary

Folk AS seeks a Project HSSEQ Manager to lead health, safety, security, environment and quality across a project lifecycle. You will drive risk reduction, ensure compliance, and promote a strong safety culture while coordinating with management, suppliers and clients.

Role requires hands-on HSSEQ support throughout engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. Immediate start and a focus on sustainable delivery are essential.

Qualifications

• More than 5+ years of relevant experience from industrial projects.
• Thorough knowledge of ISO 14001, 45001, and 9001 standards.
• Experience with quality assurance, surveillance, and control.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.
• LEAN experience and mindset are advantageous.
• Practical HSSEQ leadership across project lifecycle.
• Adaptable follow-up while on assignment.
• Experience with supplier fabrication and construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific HSSEQ plans and systems.
• Provide visible HSSEQ leadership and proactive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, permits, standards, and contracts.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Monitor HSSEQ performance via audits, inspections, and KPI reviews.
• Advise management on HSSEQ matters to reduce risk to ALARP.
• Lead incident reporting, investigation, and lessons learned.
• Manage emergency preparedness and response arrangements.
• Identify environmental impacts and minimize them.
• Support implementation of the Project Quality Plan and QA/QC.
• Coordinate HSSEQ and quality follow-up of suppliers and construction.
• Review supplier quality docs, ITPs, NCRs and records.
• Coordinate supplier surveillance and third-party inspection as needed.
• Coordinate HSSEQ training and competency development.
• Manage contractor and supplier HSSEQ performance and reviews.
• Build relationships with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Prepare HSSEQ reports and improvement recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned.
• Balance HSSEQ excellence with project schedule and cost.
