Job summary

CTS Group is seeking an experienced Project HSE Lead to drive health, safety and environmental performance on a major data centre project in Kristiansand, Norway. You will lead the site HSE team, mentor staff, and coordinate with subcontractors and client representatives to uphold the highest safety standards.

The role requires a strong HSE background, NEBOSH or equivalent qualifications, and a minimum of 5-8 years in project HSE leadership within construction or industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH IGC, ISO 45001 or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5-8 years' Project HSE Lead experience in construction, industrial or mission-critical environments.
• Experience leading HSE on large-scale construction or Data Centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment and incident investigation.
• Experience leading site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor HSE teams while promoting a positive safety culture.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive approach with the confidence to challenge unsafe behaviours and influence site teams.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital HSE reporting systems.
• Fluent English essential
• Previous Data Centre experience would be a distinct advantage
• Knowledge of Norwegian HSE legislation desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead all Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the project.
• Drive a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with procedures and local legislation.
• Provide leadership to the wider site HSE team and coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Report to the Project Director on HSE performance and improvements.

CTS Group is currently recruiting an experienced Project HSE Lead to join our growing team delivering large-scale hyperscale Data Centre projects in Kristiansand, Norway.
