Job summary

Engineering Consultants Norway AS in Kristiansand seeks a Project Engineer to manage engineering activities in ongoing equipment deliveries, establish schedules and budgets, and coordinate across disciplines for smooth delivery execution.

You will arrange and lead deliverable start-up meetings, design reviews, and status meetings, ensuring engineering compliance with specifications and standards, and preparing user manuals and drawings for delivery. Fluency in Norwegian and English is required.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor within technical or commercial topics; relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal qualifications.
• Master's in Industrial Economics and Technology Management preferred.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Engineering activities in ongoing Equipment deliveries.
• Establish and follow-up of schedule and budget on the deliveries.
• Coordinate internal disciplines and maintain clear communication for smooth delivery execution.
• Arrange and lead deliverable start-up meetings, design reviews and status meetings.
• Ensure Engineering delivers according to specifications and standards.
• Follow-up project documentation including user manuals and drawings checks.
• Report progress in the reporting system and to managers.
• Act as single point of contact for Engineering delivery with Project Management and Supply Chain Management.
• Summarize delivery with engineering delivery report and lessons learned meeting.

• Follow-up the internal disciplines across the organization and establish good communication to have as smooth as possible execution of the delivery.
• Arrange and lead deliverable start up meetings, design review meetings and status meetings throughout the delivery.
• Ensure Engineering delivers according to specifications and follows the relevant set of standards and rules.
• Follow-up project documentation, including preparation of documentation for the User Manual and check of drawings.

• Overall project reporting for Engineering
• Technical Project Manager role in projects
• Deliverable and Project scheduling
• Provide training to the Engineering organization and other parts of the Company in various relevant subjects Process improvement

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience working as a product or project engineer.
