Job summary

Head Energy Group is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee engineering activities for equipment deliveries, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with standards. The role requires collaboration across departments, leading meetings, and delivering comprehensive project documentation and lessons learned.

Fluency in Norwegian and English is required, with a strong emphasis on communication, organization, and ability to handle pressure in a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant science/engineering field.
• Experience as a product or project engineer or similar.
• Fluency in English and Norwegian is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering activities in ongoing equipment deliveries.
• Establish and monitor schedule and budget for deliveries.
• Coordinate internal disciplines and ensure smooth delivery execution.
• Lead deliverable start-up, design review and status meetings.
• Ensure engineering complies with specs and standards.
• Prepare documentation and user manuals, check drawings.
• Report progress to managers and project team.
• Act as single point of contact for PM and SCM.
• Summarize delivery with engineering report and lessons learned.
• Support other tasks such as project reporting and scheduling, and deliver training.

On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for Project Engineer.

Job Description

• Manage the Engineering activities in ongoing Equipment deliveries.


• Establish and follow-up of schedule and budget on the deliveries.


• Follow-up the internal disciplines across the organization and establish good communication to have as smooth as possible execution of the delivery.


• Arrange and lead deliverable start up meetings, design review meetings and status meetings throughout the delivery.


• Ensure Engineering delivers according to specifications and follows the relevant set of standards and rules.


• Follow-up project documentation, including preparation of documentation for the User Manual and check of drawings.


• Report progress on Engineering activities in the reporting system and to managers.


• Function as single point of contact for the delivery towards Project Management and Supply Chain Management.


• Summarize and complete the delivery with Engineering delivery report and Lessons learned meeting.


• In addition to working as EPR the Project Engineers in the department are given other tasks based on qualifications and interests such as


• Overall project reporting for Engineering


• Technical Project Manager role in projects


• Deliverable and Project scheduling


• Provide training to the Engineering organization and other parts of the Company in various relevant subjects Process improvement

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical field. Preferably master’s degree within Industrial Economics and Technology Management.


• Relevant experience working as a product or project engineer.


• Recent graduates with relevant education will be considered and are encouraged to apply.


• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.


• Structured, well organized, and able to work effectively under pressure.
