Job description

Product Manager – Shape the Future of Energy Logistics
Do you want to shape a product used by some of the world’s largest energy companies – while working in a fast-moving and evolving SaaS environment?

Kabal is a leading logistics platform for the energy industry. Since 2011, we have helped operators worldwide gain real-time control of personnel, equipment, and materials in demanding onshore and offshore operations.

Today, we are a global software company with 132 employees worldwide and a strong product and technology hub of 63 people in Stavanger. From our headquarters in Stavanger city centre, we build and scale a platform trusted by major energy operators across the world. Our customers include Equinor, Shell, BP, Chevron, TotalEnergies, Repsol, Petronas, ADNOC and ExxonMobil. We are backed by global growth investor Insight Partners.

We are growing – and with growth comes both success and complexity.
Processes evolve, priorities shift, and new opportunities emerge every day.
We are looking for a Product Manager who thrives on driving change, shaping direction, and turning challenges into impact.

The Role – Driving Direction in a Scaling Product Organization

As Product Manager, you will own and drive a key product area, shaping its direction, priorities, and impact. You will bring clarity, momentum, and focus, ensuring every initiative delivers real value for customers and the business.

You will:

  • Define and continuously refine product direction
  • Drive discovery and uncover real customer problems
  • Translate business goals and user insight into clear, actionable priorities
  • Build and maintain a strategic roadmap
  • Create alignment across product, engineering, commercial teams, and leadership
  • Influence how we work, contributing to the evolution of product processes and best practices, while keeping the product vision and priorities clear

You will be a driving force within the team, collaborating closely with designers, developers, commercial teams, and leadership – inspiring others, building alignment, and making sure the product moves forward with purpose and impact.

Who You Are

You likely come from a SaaS or software-driven environment where speed, ownership and impact matter.

You may also bring experience from energy, oil & gas, logistics, or another complex B2B domain – particularly if you have worked close to operational or digital systems.

More importantly, this is who you are as a person:

  • Curious: You want to understand the “why” before jumping to solutions. You are curious about how things actually work in the field.
  • Creative and solution-oriented: You see opportunities where others see constraints.
  • Engaging and inspiring: You communicate clearly, bring people with you, and generate enthusiasm around product direction.
  • Structured: You turn ideas into clear priorities and concrete plans.
  • Decisive: You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and making informed trade-offs.
  • A driver: You take initiative and make things happen, rather than just participating.

You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken, as English is our working language across customers and teams.

What you’ll get

At Kabal, you will:

  • Have real product ownership and influence
  • Help shape product strategy in a growing international B2B SaaS company
  • Have direct impact on how major energy operators plan and execute logistics globally
  • Work closely with global customers in complex and demanding operational environments
  • Be part of an ambitious and highly competent product and technology team

Competitive terms and benefits

This is a role for someone who wants to build, evolve, and drive product in a company that is scaling – and see the tangible impact of their decisions in real-world operations.

Culture and Benefits

At Kabal, we value collaboration, open communication, and a strong team spirit. Our employees consistently report high levels of satisfaction, and we take pride in fostering an environment where people enjoy working together, share ideas, and grow.

Location

Kabal’s office is located in Stavanger city centre. We are looking for someone who wants to be present, engaged, and contribute to our product and technology team on site, while collaborating with colleagues and customers around the world.

Ready to Build What’s Next?

If you are energized by growth, motivated by solving real-world complexity, and excited about shaping both product and process in a scaling SaaS company – we would love to talk to you.
