Job summary

Norrøna is seeking a Product Engineering & Process Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team in our RD&D department at our Lysaker HQ. You will structure the team, ensure on-time delivery, and drive the integration of processes, systems and product data, including exploration of AI-enabled tools.

You will collaborate with designers, product developers, testers and Manufacturing, guiding data quality, PLM usage, and standardization across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience, preferably from leading specialists in product development, design or manufacturing.
• Ability to structure work, plan capacity and deliver on deadlines.
• Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making or technical outdoor products is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with process improvement and rollout of new systems or functionality (PLM is a strong plus).
• Strong data understanding and reporting capabilities (Excel/Power BI).
• Interest in AI and automation in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the team of Product Specialists, Product Technicians and Product Engineers.
• Plan, prioritise and follow up the team's work and capacity to deliver on the collection timeline and quality.
• Own complete product specifications and data packages for handover to Manufacturing.
• Set goals and report on status, capacity and budget to the RD&D Director.
• Own and improve the department's development process and data standards.
