Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Norrøna is seeking a Product Engineering & Process Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team in our RD&D department at our Lysaker HQ. You will structure the team, ensure on-time delivery, and drive the integration of processes, systems and product data, including exploration of AI-enabled tools.
You will collaborate with designers, product developers, testers and Manufacturing, guiding data quality, PLM usage, and standardization across the product lifecycle.
We’re looking for a talented Product Engineering & Process Manager to join our team!
Are you ready to turn your passion for the outdoors into a career? For nearly 100 years, we’ve been crafting the ultimate outdoor equipment, enabling people to push beyond boundaries and embrace nature in its rawest form. Our vision, "Welcome to nature," drives everything we do—from designing cutting-edge gear for skiers, climbers, and explorers, to promoting responsible business practices that protect the environments we love.
We’re now searching for adventurous, forward-thinking individuals to join us on our mission. If you’re ready to be part of a brand that lives and breathes the spirit of exploration—Norrøna is where your next great adventure begins.
You will lead a team of 10 Product Specialists (pattern makers), Product Technicians (seamstresses) and Product Engineers (coordinators and technical designers) in the RD&D (research, design & development) department, reporting directly to the RD&D Director.
The role is equally divided between two key areas of responsibility. First, you will lead and structure the team, ensuring that products are delivered on schedule and meet our quality standards. Second, as RD&D's Process Manager, you will ensure that our processes, systems and product data work seamlessly together, while driving the adoption of new tools and technologies, including AI.
You will work closely with designers, product developers, testers and Manufacturing, as well as the functional owners of our systems, such as PLM.
You do not need to be a pattern maker. The team has deep expertise in pattern making, fit and product specifications. What we need from you is the ability to lead people, bring structure to the work and deliver on time, combined with a good understanding of systems, data and processes.
To succeed in this role, you are structured, methodical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and navigate seasonal workload peaks. You have strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in data, systems, and process improvement. You are proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable driving change while bringing others on board. You build trust and credibility across the organization, making you a natural go-to person for colleagues seeking guidance and support.
Start Date:As soon as possible
