Job summary

Norrøna Sport AS is seeking a Product Engineering Manager & Department Data Process Lead to head a team of 10 RD&D specialists in a dual role balancing people leadership with data process ownership. You will oversee product data quality, system adoption, and cross-functional collaboration across design, development, and manufacturing.

The role emphasizes structuring work, delivering on schedule, and advancing data-enabled product development, including AI-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in product development, design or manufacturing
• Experience with process improvement, change management and roll-out of new systems
• Strong data understanding and experience with Excel or Power BI
• Experience as a super user or key user of business systems such as PLM
• Good communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10 Product Specialists, Product Technicians and Product Engineers in RD&D
• Structure the team to ensure on-time delivery and quality
• As Department Data Process Lead, ensure processes, systems and product data work seamlessly
• Drive adoption of new tools and technologies, including AI
• Collaborate with designers, product developers, testers and Manufacturing and system owners
