Job summary

KONGSBERG US is seeking a Product Advisor to join the Vessel Robotics product team. You will help develop next-generation autonomous underwater robotic solutions for challenging maritime environments and collaborate with Jotun and engineering teams to deliver sustainable vessel operations.

This role influences products across their lifecycle from concept to deployment and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with operational, customer, and market needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Cybernetics, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
• Experience in product development, technology development, or a related technical environment.
• Experience from the maritime industry is beneficial, but not required.

At Kongsberg Discovery, we are looking for a Product Advisor to join our growing Vessel Robotics product team. You will contribute to the development of next-generation autonomous underwater robotic solutions for some of the world’s most demanding maritime environments. Working closely with our strategic partner Jotun and highly skilled engineering teams, you will help create technologies that support more sustainable and efficient vessel operations.

What You Will Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• Strong technical understanding and the ability to work effectively across disciplines.
• Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
• A genuine interest in turning technology into value for customers and operators.
• Experience from the maritime industry. This is beneficial, but not required.
