Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to shape the next generation of our AI-powered architecture design platform. You’ll set technical direction, influence cross-team architecture, and work on cloud-based workflows, performance-sensitive apps, and AI-driven features.

You’ll mentor others and partner with product managers and designers to deliver scalable, impactful solutions for designers and engineers.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on engineering background building cloud-based, user-facing systems.
Proven experience driving architectural or technical decisions beyond a single team.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines and seniority levels.

Responsibilities

Set technical direction and influence architecture across teams, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability.
