Job summary

The Emerald Group is seeking a Manager with strong technical skills in biometric risk modelling to build our insured annuities analytics, modelling and assumption-setting capabilities for future growth. You will work with rich health and underwriting data to develop assumptions, models and insights that underpin individual and enhanced annuities propositions.

Qualifications

Fellow of IFoA or equivalent health-related qualification.
Experience in health analytics and annuities basis development.
Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced commercial settings.

Responsibilities

Support the Head of Medical Analytics with managing and conducting health-related analytical projects, focusing on basis development, pricing and underwriting rules for UK annuities.
Plan, evidence synthesis, data sourcing, data analysis, model design, validation and results communication; translate insights into practical uplift.
Conduct analytical projects to support UK individual and enhanced annuities basis development.
Contribute to broader Medical Analytics or R&D projects and thought leadership in health analytics networks.
