Job summary

Nord Pool, part of Euronext, is seeking a Business Analyst (VIE) to join the Power Derivatives team in Oslo. The role starts in January 2027 for 12 months with potential extension and reports to the Head of Power Derivatives.

The ideal candidate will analyze markets, support client onboarding with Nord Pool and Euronext memberships, and prepare high-quality materials to communicate findings and recommendations. Fluency in English is required; Nordic language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in business, economics, finance or engineering.
• At least one internship or work experience in energy, strategy consulting or a fast-growing business.
• Experience analysing data, creating reports and presentations, and working with large data sets.
• Fluent in English; French or a Nordic language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development and scaling of the Power Derivatives business line through business development, market analysis and project coordination.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Finance and Legal to ensure alignment and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
• Monitor competitive landscape, conduct screening analysis and report on business performance.
• Undertake market analysis to identify opportunities and customer needs, including desktop research, client meetings and conferences.
