Job summary

The University of Bergen invites applications for a full‑time Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Brenk lab within the eHACS project, focusing on structural biology and drug design. The three‑year appointment (extendable to four) offers opportunities for independent research in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Norwegian PhD or equivalent in structural biology, or have the doctoral thesis submitted by the deadline.
• Experience with label-free biophysical methods (BLI, SPR, or GCI) to determine binding.
• Experience with structure determination of protein–ligand complexes in a structure‑based drug design context.
• Experience with protein expression and purification of at least one target protein (FabF, PanK or NMT).
• Proficiency in both written and oral English.
