Job summary

University of Oslo invites applications for a three- or four-year Postdoc position in the Department of Education. The successful candidate will study how collaborative learning interacts with AI tools and infrastructures in higher education, using DBR methods and working with the KITE research group and TRUST center.

The appointment is full-time, with a potential 25% teaching load in a four-year contract. The postdoc will build a research profile and may pursue an associate professorship in

Qualifications

PhD in relevant field with emphasis on learning theory, cognitive theories, or AI in higher education.
Dissertation should involve studies of interaction with intelligent technologies; priority given to such work.
English proficiency required; Norwegian proficiency viewed as an advantage.

Responsibilities

Conduct design-based research (DBR) across iterations to improve students’ learning opportunities.
Collaborate with the KITE group and other faculty to integrate AI in education research.
Develop a career plan and contribute to dissemination of findings through publications and presentations.
