Job summary

Oslo universitetssykehus HF søker en doktorgradsstipendiat ved Intervention Centre til å utvikle patient-spesifikke modeller for transkatetersk aortaklaffesykdom. Du vil kombinere eksperimentelle og beregningsmetoder for å forbedre diagnostikk og behandling av TAVI-utfall.

Prosjektet innebærer utvikling av 3D-printede klaffe modeller, laboratorie mock-circulation plattform og evaluering av echocardiografiske estimater mot referanse målinger.

Qualifications

  • Mastergrad eller tilsvarende innen mekanisk ingeniørfag, biomedisin eller beslektet fagområde.
  • Sterk akademisk merittliste, med karakter B eller høyere.
  • Erfaring med CFD-simulering og fordelsvis FSI-modellering.
  • Ferdigheter i vitenskapelig programmering (Python, MATLAB, C++).
  • Gode engelskkunnskaper, skriftlig og muntlig.
  • Evne til selvstendig arbeid i tverrfaglig og internasjonalt team.

Responsibilities

  • Utvikle 3D-printe modeller av diseased aortic valves.
  • Bidra til utvikling av mock circulation platform.
  • Evaluere echocardiographic metoder og BST for hemodynamikk.
  • Integrere eksperimentelle, beregningsmessige og kliniske perspektiver.
  • Delta i internasjonale forskningsopphold og kunnskapsutveksling.
