Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Workplace Manager to lead the Oslo office and its Workplace team. You will oversee daily operations, safety, budget management and vendor coordination, while partnering with regional leaders to continuously improve workplace services.

You will manage the local team, build strong relationships with employees and leadership, and drive sustainable, inclusive and efficient workplace practices in a hybrid Oslo environment.

Qualifications

• : 4+ years of experience in Workplace, Facilities, Office Operations or related field.
• Experience coordinating vendors, budgets and workplace or facilities projects.
• Experience leading, coaching or coordinating people and building a collaborative, service-oriented team environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills for working with employees, leaders, vendors and cross-functional partners.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills; balance priorities and adapt to changes.
• Working knowledge of workplace health, safety and facilities practices; partner with specialists when required.
• Comfortable using Microsoft 365.
• Willingness to provide occasional after-hours support for business-critical maintenance or incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of Oslo workplace; create a safe, welcoming and efficient environment.
• Coach and develop the local Workplace team, set objectives and support professional development.
• Build relationships with employees and leadership; communicate updates and priorities.
• Partner with Site Leader, HR, IT/ESE, Security, Finance, Procurement, Legal and others to deliver seamless services.
• Manage vendors and contractors; monitor service performance and contracts.
