Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group in Oslo seeks an Area Chief Engineer to lead the engineering strategy across our Oslo hotels. You will oversee engineering operations, major maintenance, CapEx investments and technical compliance, acting as a trusted advisor to hotel leadership and owners.

As a hands-on yet strategic leader, you will coach Chief Engineers, optimise assets, manage budgets, and coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient and sustainable hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent, preferably in mechanical/electrical/building services or technical installations.
• Proven leadership experience in engineering/maintenance across multi-site or complex properties.
• Experience managing large technical projects, renovations, CapEx and contractor relationships.
• Strong knowledge of property maintenance, building systems and technical installations.
• Excellent budgeting and investment planning skills.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support Chief Engineers across the Oslo area hotel portfolio, creating consistency and best practice.
• Oversee engineering operations across Oslo hotels, ensuring maintenance, safety and technical standards are met.
• Plan and manage major refurbishment, renovation and technical installation projects from budgeting through execution.
• Manage CapEx projects and budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery and value for owners.
• Coordinate with hotel engineering teams, procurement, investment applications and technical administration.
• Act as technical liaison between Radisson Hotel Group, owners, contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programmes are planned, monitored and continuously improved.
• Drive asset performance, minimise downtime and improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee sustainability initiatives and energy-saving projects across properties.
