Job summary

NOV Downhole Technologies in Stavanger is seeking an experienced Operations Support Team Lead to organize and develop the Operations Support team, prioritizing critical tasks and establishing reliable administrative processes.

You will oversee ERP-driven order processing, asset and inventory control, logistics, and invoicing, partnering with Sales, Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure timely handovers and continuous improvement. This onsite role reports to an Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing people, including setting priorities and developing employees.
• Very strong ERP experience and ability to manage ERP-driven workflows.
• Solid inventory and logistics management capability.
• Vendor and customer management experience, including coordination with third-party providers.
• Financial understanding to recognize how activities affect invoicing and AR.
• Very good Norwegian and good English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support asset, inventory and material management across operations.
• Coordinate logistics and shipping with customers, sites and third-party providers.

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain for handovers and order execution.
• Support invoicing and accounts receivable activities for services and deliveries.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning and system-management processes and KPIs; strengthen ERP capabilities.

• Support accurate and timely invoicing and accounts-receivable activities for completed services and deliveries.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning and system-management processes, establish meaningful team KPIs and strengthen ERP capability across the team.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supervising or managing people, including setting priorities, developing employees and managing team performance.
• Strong practical ERP experience and the ability to manage ERP-driven operational workflows.
• Strong inventory and logistics management capability.
• Relevant vendor and customer management experience, including coordination with third-party providers.
• Sufficient financial understanding to recognize how operational activities affect invoicing, accounts receivable and business performance.
• Very good working proficiency in Norwegian and good working proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• University or college qualification in Business Administration, or another relevant educational background.
• Experience or knowledge from oil & gas, energy industry.
• Relevant technical, engineering or quality background.
• Experience with ERP/system implementation or relevant scanning technologies.
