Job summary

NOV in Stavanger is seeking an Operations Support Supervisor to lead the team behind ERP-driven order management, inventory control, logistics, and invoicing. You will coordinate with vendors and customers, ensuring efficient processes across the business and supporting cross-functional handovers with Sales, Operations, and Engineering.

You will organize and develop the Operations Support team, set clear priorities, and build reliable administrative processes that enable field teams to execute.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supervising or managing people and setting priorities.
• Strong ERP experience and ability to manage ERP-driven workflows.
• Solid inventory and logistics management capability.
• Experience with vendor and customer management and working with third-party providers.
• Financial understanding to recognize how operations affect invoicing and AR.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the Operations Support team, setting priorities and ensuring coverage of critical activities.
• Oversee customer and service order processing through ERP systems, including scheduling through to completion.
• Support asset, inventory and material management across operational activities.
• Coordinate logistics and shipping with customers, locations and third-party providers.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers supporting repair and other requirements.
• Work with Sales, Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain to enable smooth handovers and order execution.
• Support accurate invoicing and AR activities for completed services and deliveries.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning and system-management processes and establish team KPIs.
