Job summary

VOI Technology is seeking an Operations Manager for Norway and Denmark to lead in-field and warehouse operations, drive performance against KPIs and support city launches. You’ll define strategy, shape dashboards, and partner with 3PLs, fleet managers and central teams to ensure seamless execution.

The role requires 3–5 years in operations or strategy, strong analytical skills, and a track record of driving improvements across multiple stakeholders; fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering or similar.
  • 3–5 years of experience in operations or strategy from consulting or a hyper-growth start-up.
  • Strong analytical capability and proficiency in conducting analysis and delivering insights.
  • Experience leading projects and driving improvements with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Define & shape the strategy, performance metrics and dashboards for in-field operations in Norway and Denmark.
  • Drive strategic and data-driven decision-making to improve KPIs (backlog, repair cost, uptime).
  • Be the POC for 3PLs, manage sourcing to contract negotiation and collaborate with Fleet Managers.
  • Support Fleet & Site Managers on execution and bridge central and local teams for compliance.
  • Collaborate with Operations teams in Norway and Denmark to spot improvement opportunities and maximise efficiency.

Job description

YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As an Operations Manager for Norway and Denmark, you will focus on the strategy, execution and continuous improvement across our in-field & warehouse operation, support the fleet organisation to deliver operational excellence across set KPIs, and ensure successful city launches and completion of long-term improvement projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the local Fleet team, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and other central stakeholders and contribute directly to the operational excellence and success of our operations in both countries. This will include:

  • Defining & shaping the strategy, performance metrics and dashboards for the in-field operations in Norway and Denmark,
  • Driving strategic and data-driven decision-making to improve operational excellence and KPIs (e.g. backlog, cost per repair, repair efficiency, uptime).
  • Being the POC for 3PLs, managing the process and relationship from sourcing to contract negotiation, and collaborating with Fleet Managers to manage performance monitoring and follow-up
  • Supporting the Fleet & Site Managers on execution, and acting as the bridge between central and local teams to continuously drive compliance and improvements of our processes.
  • Collaborating closely with the Operations team in Norway and Denmark, and working proactively to spot improvement opportunities to maximise efficiency, revenue and overall success of our operations in the region.

We are looking for a structured and analytical problem-solver with the ability to drive progress independently, lead effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, and adapt quickly to changing priorities. In addition to being professionally fluent in English, we believe the right person has:

  • Bachelor's in business, economics, engineering or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations or strategy from consulting or a hyper-growth start-up environment
  • Strong analytical capability and proficiency in conducting analysis, identifying underlying drivers, and delivering actionable insights
  • Experience from leading projects and driving the implementation of improvements in collaborating with multiple stakeholders
