Job summary

RTS Wind AG is seeking a Mechanic (m/f/d) specialized in wind energy retrofits to join our Bremen onshore team. You will work on retrofit tasks, inspect components, and support rotor and nacelle maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires vocational training as an industrial mechanic or similar, good English, and a willingness to undertake extended rotations. A valid driver’s license (class B) is also requested.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or equivalent.
• Experience in service or retrofit of wind turbines preferred.
• Good English skills.
• Willingness to work extended rotations.

Responsibilities

• Replacing HV cable guide brackets.
• Retrofit upgrade for yaw platform.
• Repairing ladder legs inside the tower.
• Replacing gearbox bushings.
• Replacing pitch-cylinder.
• Inspection and tightening screw connections.
