Job summary

Nordex Group in Norway is seeking a Service Technician to join the Midtfjellet service point, identifying faults and performing maintenance on wind turbines. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure reliable turbine operation, reporting to a supervisor and participating in on-site safety procedures.

The role requires vocational electrical/mechanical training, English communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Vocational education in electrical, mechanical or similar fields is required.
• Solution-oriented and analytical mindset is valued for service technicians.
• Good English communication skills are essential for training and daily operations.
• Good computer skills are an advantage in this role.
• A medical check is required prior to starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and faultfinding.
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspection activities with subcontractors.
• Repair or exchange main components as needed.
• Check inventory of spare parts stock and manage site material.
• Follow all Health & Safety instructions and guidelines.
